Kerobokan
Kerobokan sits between Seminyak and Canggu. Most streets are residential lanes (gang) with villas, local warung and family temples, so evenings are quiet. You get the same supermarkets, gyms, laundries and restaurants as the busier areas, just a short ride away instead of next door.

Canggu
Canggu is where Bali's digital-nomad scene lives: surf breaks, coworking spaces, cafés, gyms and a very social evening life. If you want to walk out of your door into all of that, Canggu is the place.
The downsides are traffic, construction noise in many streets and higher rents, especially for newer villas close to Batu Bolong and Berawa.
Seminyak
Seminyak is Bali's most established upscale area: restaurants, boutiques, spas and beach clubs, with the beach within walking distance of many villas. It is also the most touristy of the three, and long-term rents are the highest.
